Showreel

University Showreel from Emma Taylor on Vimeo.

This is a short collection of some films I have taken part in producing in various roles from director to editor and cinematographer.

Film 1 - 'Let it Out' Music Video - I won a national competition 'The Bright Sparks Project' where my filming talents were recognised by judges Tony Lundon (New York Film School Graduate and member of Liberty X) Liz McClarnon (Atomic Kitten) Troy Antunes (American Producer) Ben Forster (West End Superstar currently in Jesus Christ Superstar) Iain James (Songwriter). They congratulated me with the title of 'Bright Spark' along with two other young people (Kayleigh Walters, Birmingham - singer and Alex Watkins, Essex - Music Producer). Together we produced this song and music video which I directed. 'Let it Out' found its way into the UK charts and has had nearly 20,000 views on YouTube.

Film 2 - 'The Last Man' Short Film - I worked in the role of editor on this project which has been successfully submitted into some international short film festivals including 'Mecal Barcelona International Short Film and Animation Festival' and the 'FEC Festival - European Short Film Festival'.

Film 3 - 'Alice' Short Film - I worked alone for all the production values in this dark short film. I took on all the roles of camera, sound, editor, producer and director. This short film was completed (from initial idea to finished production) in only 7 hours.

Film 4 - 'Man with Van' Short Film - A black comedy short where I undertook the role of '2nd camera op'. This was the first time I had ever worked with a green chroma key screen on set and this production came second in the 'North vs South' film festival.

Montage - Various Clips - I have put a short collection of clips of projects I am currently working on now. The first few shots are those from my ongoing A2 Media A Level Production named 'Fallen Grace' which I am directing. The Zumba clips are from a promotional video I have done for a local Zumba company which I filmed, directed and edited.
